A trip to warrandyte is not complete without a little stop over at the iconic Warrandyte Berry Farm’s roadside stall and food van.
Mamma still remembers coming here as a kid 30 years ago for strawberry ice cream on the school holidays! And you know it’s good if a place has been around for DECADES.
Though the farm does not offer u-pick experiences, there is plenty to bring visitors back time and time again. Enjoy home made ice cream, sauces, hot jam donuts, chocolate dipped strawberries and smoothies from the food van which often has a line of patient punters waiting for their fix.
Then peruse the roadside stall and take a little piece of the farm home with punnets of juicy strawberries, fruit leather, berry sauce or farm fresh eggs as well as a selection of artisan food products from local makers.
Mamma loves being able to carry on the tradition of a roadside strawberry ice cream treat with the kids all these years later.
