I’m not sure you could ask for anything more - a relaxed, laid back cafe, with HEAPS of outdoor space, games for the kids and all located in a BEAUTIFUL historic part of the Valley. Two Peas in their Pod is a NEW cafe to open in Wandin, nestled inside the ground of Mont De Lancey.

Mamma loves how calm and relaxed this space is, letting the kids be themselves on the lawn, all while sitting back with a latte and yummy lunch … and later in the day we could just switch out that coffee for a cocktail! There is plenty of room inside or out for a full mums group or extended family lunch.

As the cafe is located inside the historic grounds, you can continue on and wander through the gardens - donations are greatly appreciated in the letterbox near the cafe. The views are stunning and a little bit of local history (and acorn collecting) is good for everyone.

Mamma's special mention: Mont De Lancey has significant history in the Wandin hills. It was originally the homestead of the Sebire family in the 1880s and you can lean more about the past on the guided tour and museum visit.
