You really can’t beat a local bakery with a top notch coffee machine, a toasty pie warmer and an entire front cabinet filled to the brim with delicious pastries, cakes, cookies and slices!

Located at the rear of the Ringwood North shops (it used to be where our local brumbies bakery used to be), the Pastry Board make everything on site. From the jam drops, to the bee stings, the cookies and the family pies - all made local and fresh.

Mamma particularly loves the shelf dedicated to the younger taste buds and are the perfect size for a snack while heading to - or from - the park. Our kids always gravitate to the cake pops, but maybe the donuts, the meringues or the gingerbread men will be more up your alley.

Mamma's special mention: Speaking of parks, McAlpin Reserve is a short way along Wonga Road and the playground is a total winner.
