Mamma’s kids now love the old Waverly Park just as much as Mamma did while growing up a Hawthorn supporter. Except now, it isn’t just watching the footy in the freezing cold grandstands. Now it is enjoying a delicious meal at The Last Piece Eatery.

This warm and inviting Italian restaurant is located right under the old seats of Waverley Park. The food is spot on (you have to try the pastas!) and the kids menu … well there is a whole page to choose from - it could just be the biggest kids menu in the EAST! There is heaps of room and there are colouring pencils on hand for the kiddos.

You can choose to sit outside and if the Hawks so happen to be training at the same time, you have some free entertainment while you dine! If not, you can always grab a gingerbread-footystar for dessert! Yum.

Mamma's special mention: The Waverley Park area is now a residential area with the footy oval in the centre. Parking can be a little tight, so do take care. Once you have had you’re meal, drive (or possibly enjoy a long walk) to the HUGE playground by the lake for a big run around!
