Mamma has been itching to get to this incredible homestead ever since it was announced it was being transformed into its former glory. The Stamford Park Homestead used to be the ‘country home’ of the Row family back in the 1880s and now, after years of tender loving care, it is back to its best and open for all of us to enjoy.
When you arrive on the property, you feel completely taken back in time and we promise - you don’t feel like you are in Rowville any more. The restaurant is beautifully designed with formal dining rooms, private function areas, courtyard seating to the rear and a stunning sweeping verandah. Every little detail has been considered and it is impeccable.
The front decking is the perfect spot if you are bringing a couple of kids. They will love the kids menu - the Cheesy cauliflower risotto with parmesan ‘snow’ - makes Mamma giggle. They will also love visiting the chook house, slurping up a milkshake, and having a run on the huge sweeping lawn on the way back to the car. Mamma’s will love the all day bunch menu with veggies straight from the garden and enjoying the serenity of this old estate in one of the most unlikely locations.
Mamma's special mention: Mamma can not wait to enjoy date night here with hubby or maybe brunch with just with the ladies. Dinner is served Friday and Saturday nights and, as with all other times, bookings are essential!
