Mamma loves the vibes of a country cafe and bakery, and even more when there is plenty of room to stretch out after a long drive and a menu full of tasty options.
Punkah Pantry is found in the main street of Porepunkah, a sleepy little pit stop along the Ovens River that you cross over just before you reach the town of Bright. This family operated cafe is beautiful and full of light, with a cosy couch at the rear with some toys and books.
When in town you are best to grab a homemade pie or grab a toastie and a smoothie. The Ruben is a must try and Mamma’s favourite coffee bean are on the machine, so certainly grab a latte too!
