Melburnians usually love anything between two bits of bread. But make it between two bits of wood fired bagels, and it takes everything to a new level.
Mile End Bagels have a couple of shop fronts including the Richmond store. It is super slick in here with a minimalist aesthetic and simple but brilliant menu. They know what they are doing here - creating incredible bagel combinations jam packed with ingredients and flavour.
Mamma loves that you can order one of the staples on the everyday menu - like the peanut butter and jelly (warning - you’ll need the wipes after this one) or the Brisket pastrami with a generous amount of pickles! OR pick the flavour of the month - both a savoury and a sweet variety to keep things interesting. Good reason to come back!
There are a few high tables to dine in at the Richmond shop. The stainless steel bench top might be a little cold but so easy to catch the hundreds of seeds that often scattered after a yummy bagel lunch!
