Everyone wants a local cafe like Eugene’s. One where the crew all know your name and you’re welcomed with open arms. Eugene’s is a classic hidden treasure with exceptional Melbourne cafe vibes. Tucked in the corner of the Wantirna Mall, this place is perfect for a weekend brunch, a takeaway coffee or an all in family breakfast.
Menu is full of delicious options and Mamma is super impressed by the kids lunchboxes. There is either a breakfast or a lunch option and we love the fact the lunch includes a side of veggies and hummus - any chance to add some greens in there is fine by us!
But of course, let me tell you about the eggs benny. Owner Ash recommends you order this one and it won’t disappoint. This brisket version of the classic has the most perfectly balanced hollandaise sauce we have ever had the pleasure of trying. Mamma would have licked the plate clean if it weren’t so socially unacceptable! Just incredible.
