The Public Brewery is NOW Dainton Taphouse. The craft brewery is originally from Carrum Downs but has now spread its wings to the Eastside and brewing up a storm in the burbs of Croydon.
The venue remains super familiar with its long warehouse style set up, with the main dining area at the end, courtyard out the back and more private dining area that’s great for a family group beside the kitchen.
The beers are perfect and if you can’t choose your favourite from the range, get a tasting paddle and sample a whole bunch OR try your tastebuds with a beer cocktail. Mamma’s was a pink lemonade sour base!
The food is fantastic. Highly recommend the pizza and the kids loved the mini cheeseburgers - perfect size! Keep your eye out on socials too - kids eat free some evenings!
