Bissel B Bagels, Richmond — mamma knows east

This Mamma has never been to New York … but maybe she doesn’t need to go, because the finest New York style bagels are being pumped out right here in Richmond for Bassel B! This beautiful shop front on Bridge Road made a name for itself during the Melbourne lockdowns with lines around the corner for their takeaway. And oh boy are these round handfuls of amazingness worth it!

Choose from 20 different bagel combos - most are named after the NY icons - or, mix it up and DIY your lunch to suit your palette. The little one asked for a simple ham and cheese and Mamma had to start the bagel journey with the Bodega, a perfect balance of bacon, egg, avo and cheese (and you can add a hash brown to cap it off).

Mamma's special mention: Need a drink to wash it down? Next door you will find Ms Peachy. The little sister shop to Bissel B is all about smoothies. What a perfect match.
