Take a drive out to Garfield North and hike up Mount Cannibal where you will be rewarded with the most beautiful views. Mount Cannibal is a continuous loop walk talking to you to the top where you can soak in some beautiful viewing points. While the hike has a few steep points and stairs, Mamma’s 5 year old loved the walk, looking out a variety of things found in nature on the way up.
There are signs scattered all along the hike displaying different flora and fauna you may be lucky enough to see. There are a couple of points along the walk with stunning views from lookouts with sheer drops, so Mamma kept a close eye on her 5 year old at these spots. At the base of the mountain there are also swings, a toilet block, picnic table and BBQs
