miller's homestead, boronia

There is a very special and very beautiful building located in the suburban streets of Boronia. Miller’s Homestead was once the home of James John Miller - the first president of the Ferntree Gully Shire, and now after some recent restorations, has reopened its doors alongside Eastern Regional Libraries.

Come and explore the lovely gardens and yards of the property, before heading indoors to read a book or two in the small library collection in the main house. There are some kid shelves here which will assist for the weekly story time sessions held on Thursdays. Mamma can also collect a book from the wider library collection here too - just borrow online.

Mamma's special mention: There are set to be many community events held here in the coming months. CLICK HERE for all the up to date info.
