Hijinx Hotel, Chadstone Shopping Centre

If you and your crew love games night - you are going to LOVE the Hijinx Hotel. This BRAND NEW experience at Chadstone is the first Hijinx Hotel in Victoria and it has blown Mamma’s mind.

It is a series of rooms (much like a hotel) that are designated game rooms, where you work as a team to earn points. It could be scoring goals with a basketball or ball room, playing naughts and crosses, identifying songs or solving a word problem with giant scrabble cubes. Either way - you have 5 minutes to rack up the points before moving to the next room.

You will be tested by your reaction times, your ability, accuracy and general knowledge. The kids are more than capable of participating too … unless it is a room that test patience - the Rubik's cube room was the MOST challenging for us!

The entire game session was SO much fun and we all had heaps of laughs along the way. Sessions come in sets of 5 rooms and run for 30 minutes and are supported the whole time by a hotel assistant. The venue is welcome to kids with their responsible adults but also is an adults only venue once the clock strikes 8pm on Friday and Saturday nights.

The Hijinx Hotel is part of the Fun Lab group (the guys from Holey Moley and Archie Brothers) so they KNOW how to help you all have a great time!
