We love a new playground. Peregrine Reserve in Rowville is ticking all the boxes. Great fresh equipment with cool monkey bars, climbing frame, birds nest swing and slides. We love the shop counter (as always, Mamma has to order a coffee!) and the counting beads to keep track of the day’s takings.
We also love the hidden eggs in the garden. It is a cool little experiment to ask the kids who they think they belong too. All of a sudden the imaginations start firing and eyes start looking in the nearby gardens for more evidence of giant chickens, the Easter Bunny or maybe some dinosaurs.
The other things that make this area great is the full sized basketball court with built in soccer goals as well (all under construction). PLUS the nearby walking tracks and green space make it perfect for a family stroll along the paved footpaths - a bonus for bikes and scooters!
There are more plans from Knox Council in the surrounding area, including wetlands and a BMX pump track.
