We have another new playground in town….and this one is already a massive hit with the locals! Sitting above Abbey Walk in Vermont, Culbara Drive playground and it is huge for a street playground.
With play equipment including a double slide, swings, comet spinner and plenty of rope activities, this playground is sure to be a hit with the kids. Above the slides sits a sheltered play area with games such as Tic Tac Toe, Connect 4 and some noisy percussion play for those with gifted little musicians.
Your adventurous littles ones can even scale the climbing mound using a mountaineering rope. This Mamma had a great time going down the slide with her little ones. The playground is surrounded by lovely trees and grassy areas (and some pretty amazing views) making it the perfect spot for a picnic or a birthday party.
There is plenty of open space across the road at Abbey Walk for a kick of the footy or a throw of the frisbee. If you’re lucky you might even be able to catch the goats grazing on the grass.
