We have a new one - and is a double header! Progress Park has had a make over and it has a brand new big sister … but it’s so new … it’s currently still wrapped up behind the fence!
We LOVE this concept. On one side of the street, you have your little kids play zone. There are slides, musical toys, swings, spinny merry-go-rounds and your classic playground features.
On the otherside, we have a bigger kid playground. There is a twisty slide, a birds nest swing, monkey bar frame, lots of ropes to climb and its very own scooter track. You could start on the junior section, then visit the more adventurous stuff in the second half of your play, or just stick to one. Or you could divide and conquer, and kids play where they are most comfortable (there is a road with a raised pavement between the two - so chats about road safety is key when moving between both playgrounds).
