Be prepared to be WOWED as Bunjil Place sets to celebrate the 20th anniversary of the Winter Arts Festival in Casey with a multi-sensory experienced like no other!
Casey Cornucopia installation and experience will be taking place over 24 days this winter - from June 24 to July 17. Designed by the internationally renowned designers Bompas and Parr, you and your family will be fully immersed into to the foodway history of the Casey region as you explore the Cornucopia Garden. The FREE experience will feature giant sculptures and even edible mist - it will be THE place to be over the winter school holidays! The attraction that is taking over the Bunjil Place Plaza, kicks off on June 24 with the Launch Party with live music, snacks and a welcome drink - BOOK HERE.
For those wishing to learn more about the wacky minds and designs of Bompas & Parr, you can also book a tour and discover how the Garden was created, the magic behind that edible mist and get to know more about Casey’s rich local produce (this includes snacks!). Tours are $10 a head and can be BOOKED HERE. .
Mamma is super excited to watch the plaza come to life with this once in a lifetime display, as well as the daily Food Hub that will be popping up in the Bunjil Place foyer selling fresh produce from local farmers and growers.
Finally for those die hard food lovers, there is an Immersive Dining event set for July 1st and 2nd. This is geared to be a spellbinding evening that tantalises the senses, through performance, song, aroma and flavour. It is a seven-course progressive dinner and will feature some of the region’s top produce from Bunjil Place’s Head Chef, Colin Wilson. Spots will fill fast - BOOK HERE.
