milki and miller, boronia — mamma knows east

It’s Milki as in milk bar. It is Miller as in John James Miller - the first Knox shire president. And together is it a funky cafe found at the Alchester shops in Boronia. The cafe is big supporters of local produce and producers, and have worked hard to create this beautiful cafe.

The space itself is light and airy, filled with indoor plants and nods to the past. The back old school milk bar fridges are filled with sodas and juices. The menu is a beautiful balance of sandwiches and light breakfasts - ideal for casual dining. There is heaps of room to add a pram or pull up a highchair. There a dedicated kids menu - including a bougie babycino - and the team are so friendly, looking after the little ones. They’ll also love the milkshakes and the icypoles. They really hit the spot!

Mamma's special mentions: For a great spot to play nearby, head towards the hills to The Basin’s Triangle Playground OR just pop in next door - there’s a slide and a sea saw. Winner!
