maroondah toy library, ringwood north

Toy libraries have to be the most joyful places! Filled to the brim with toys to delight kiddies of every age. Mamma is loving the range of toys from construction, active play, musical, imaginative toys, puzzles, games and much, much more. Maroondah Toy Library is no different - running three times a week, the library is huge! Libraries like this teach children the importance of looking after toys, as well as providing Mammas (and papas) to test out toys with the little ones. It keeps the treasures entertained and once they have out grown (or simply over it!) the toys are exchanged for another set - ready for the next play adventure. You can even borrow the cake tins for that cake you will only ever cook once! The wonderful ladies that oversee Maroondah Toy Library, Bec and Gab are a wealth of information and are more than happy to assist you choosing toys to assist and delight your little treasures! Saves Mamma from forking out the big bucks for a toy that sits in the cupboard for months! Even better - a membership is a wonderful gift idea! The most difficult thing will be deciding what to choose.

Mamma’s special mentions: Programs can only run with the assistance of volunteers. Families are asked to donate their time once a term and this ensures the program runs successfully. But the best bit, when you complete your turn, you get to borrow the duty toys as a special treat - just look at that dinosaur!
