Forest Hill Chase have just opened The Loft and Mamma and the little guy popped in to check it out. The old favourites (the movies, TGI Fridays, Timezone, Lollipops) are still there on Level 3, but now there is also a stack more dining options.
Mamma spys ENA Greek Street Food, a Groove Train, a French creperie, Tokyo Metro - a sushi train, Route 45 - Roadhouse Diner (think ribs, steak and burgers), dumplings, bubble tea and where we decided to stop for a snack, Saigon Corner. The Vietnamese restaurant is everything delicious and the interior is complete with shutters and rickshaw. You will forget you are in a shopping centre when you are sipping on an iced lychee and some piping hot spring rolls.
Another great addition to the centre is the unique children’s playspace. This is a duel zoned playground with lots of low climbing areas and interesting interactive features, including two touch screen games. Although the highlight has to be the light-up slide (which proved incredibly hard to photograph!). The area is fenced, although not gated and there is plenty of seating space beside.
Mamma's special mention: There is also a re-vamped parents room which is keeping in theme with the playspace, which has an enclosed zone for toddlers and heaps of nappy changing space too.
