the big bouquet, healesville

Alpacas and flowers. It isn't your usual combination but when you put them together in the one place, you have a great little adventure on your hands. The Big Bouquet in Healesville is a wonderful space to visit when you are in need of a coffee and a place for the kids to explore. There is no entry fee to the farm and you can spend your time on the playground, in the gardens, watching the alpacas from the fence and even spying the rainbow of gerberas from the glass house window. Although the farm isn't your interactive petting-type variety of farm, watching the furry friends is enough for little ones, especially when a visit is followed by a trip to the ice cream freezer!

Now you may have to consider this article part one for the Big Bouquet as they have grand plans to renovate the venue to include an outdoor eating area and improvements to the playground. Mamma may just have to come back! ** UPDATE - The sandpit and trampolines are IN ACTION!
