mega keeper adventure @ healesville sanctuary, healesville

We are sure you have heard the news. The dinosaurs and prehistoric creatures have taken over at Zoos Victoria. The larger than life creatures will surprise and delight your little ones as they move and grunt beside the trail. At Healesville, these fine creatures are classed as the MegaBeasts - the lesser known mega fauna that roamed the northern hemisphere more than 10,000 years ago.

To add to this fun addition at The Sanctuary, is an all access experience, going behind the scenes with the Mega Keepers. The kids get a crash course in health checks, keeper safety and how to work with these enormous creatures. The leading keepers teach us all the tricks of the trade, providing insightful information about the animals and dropping plenty of jokes for the Mammas as you go! Let’s just say poo and wee talk is high on the discussion list!

Mamma's special mentions: This additional ticketed experience is aimed for 6 - 12 years and have limited numbers per session. Otherwise, there are daily Mega Beast Keeper talks daily at 1:30pm

For more ROAR-Some experiences, head to Melbourne Zoo’s Dino Park or Werribee Open Range Zoo’s Zoorassic. On display until the end of the July School Holidays.
