red and green train park, mont albert north
/Trains are everywhere! Trains on the tracks. Trains in the sheds. Trains in the park! I have a feeling there is a theme going on at the Elgar Park. Not only is this playground bright green and red, it also has its own station platform, a mini locomotive with a tunnel and a HUGE climbing engine! Alongside the trains (which where a little difficult for bubs at 18 months to manage) there is the birds nest swing, monkey bar rings and a BRIGHT red slide. Simple, but effective.
Mamma's special mention: It is a great spot for a play or a picnic, especially on the third Sunday of the month when the Box Hill Miniature Steam Railway have their running days
the nitty gritty
picnic seating - public toilets - off-street parking - ovals nearby - limited shade
