sisko chocolate, eastland, ringwood

Stop looking! Mamma has found her new favourite spot for a hot chocolate. There is a teeny tiny chocolate shop hidden (well sorta) in The Arcade of Eastland called Sisko Chocolate. This permanent pop-up is the break away of the Hawthorn studio and they are the true masters of fine chocolate. It is a white glove, tweezers and glass bowl type of place and boy do they take their work seriously and MAN it is worth it! The most beautiful and spectacular offering would have to be the Sisko Chocolate Sphere. This is a hot choc like no other. You will be presented with a tray and three vessels. Warm frothy chocolate milk, the sphere itself and a glass of water (you need something to wash it down afterwards). As you pour the warm liquid over the sphere it melts before your very eyes. If that is not enough - POP.... appear the hidden marshmallows out of the sphere!. If you are dining with little ones (do be careful as there are delicate displays at perfect toddler reach) you could ask for a little chocy-cino too. The perfect little date spot! You can thank me later!

Mamma's special mention: Eastland has a little laneway called The Arcade and is on Level 2, connecting the Central corridor and the East corridor and the walkway is lined with mirrors. Mamma's first walk down this trail - I thought it was a display. But no - little studios.
