When Mamma arrives in this Auburn Road cafe, she is immediately made to feel welcome. On a lovely spring afternoon we choose to enjoy the courtyard with some locals and quickly make ourselves at home. Colouring pencils and giant butcher’s paper are spread over the table while Mamma pours over the menu. Although everything looks incredible, you can’t go past a super food salad. Kids can choose from burgers, pancakes, toasties or eggs! Once we have had our fill and our cinos to match, everyone goes home happy.
Mamma's special mention: Central Gardens, or you probably know it best as Rocketship Park is just up the road and it is a classic playground and well loved amongst the Boroondara families.
