Fancy, fresh and mighty fine is what you will find upstairs at Abacus All Day. The latest addition to the Town Square at Eastland has already had Mamma return for coffee, lunch and now dinner! The food is nothing short of amazing and designed to share with the ones you love.
We are talking oysters, beef tongue croquettes, dumplings and pork belly, all accompanied by the freshest seasonal produce. from the restaurant's own farm. The drinks menu is fantastic and full of drama. I mean, seriously, how incredible is a cocktail, served from a tea pot, in a cloud of dry ice!
During the day, the team serve an all day breakfast and the coffee is so on point. The kids aren't forgotten either, with a kids menu of what Mamma calls REAL food without a chicken nugget in sight. The fish and chips topped with broccolini (pictured below) was consumed in a flash, although Mamma did need to convince a 3.5 year old that chips can be supersized and still be called 'chips'. There is room for prams and highchairs on offer if you need, and more importantly the staff are so lovely with the youngsters.
Date night, coffee run, brunching or a night out with the girls - abacus is ticking lots of boxes!
Mamma's special mention: Loving what you see but no where near Ringwood. Visit the original Abacus on Chapel Street, South Yarra.
