The houses along The Boulevard have has some practise at running those Christmas light and they have been doing it for YEARS - right back in the 50s! Mamma has fond memories wearing her dressing gown and walking hand in hand looking at the twinkling lights in her younger years. Although not every house is on show - like Mamma's memory thought there was, there is enough to satisfy your little light spotters! You can choose to stay in the car and gently cruise on down The Boulevard as the road turns into a one way street from 7:30 - 11:30pm from December 10 - 24. But of course it is even more fun to walk with the crowd and really get a good look at each house! The strip is just shy of 2km so it could be worth taking the pram if you have little legs that won't make it, but to be prepared to get them out from time to time! Many of the lights don't really get to shine until night fall so anytime from 8:30 is best. There are some glow stick stalls, coffee cart and ice cream stand along the way too.
Mamma's special mentions: Mamma is a huge fan of Christmas lights and has put together a collection of more houses in Christmas Lights in the EAST - the photos there are of this display at night!
