mumtographers, melbourne

Mamma loves photography. It is my creative outlet and I love nothing more than capturing special moments and memories for the years to come. Julie knows this too and wants to help other mums develop their skills with a camera in hand, as well as helping mums explore their local area - JUST LIKE MAMMA!

Local photographer from the Dandenong Ranges runs photography walks throughout Melbourne where you can attend, learn how to take some great snaps with other Mammas and bring your kiddos along too. Strap on the baby carrier, load up the pram and stock up on the snacks because the kids are joining you as Julie guides you through a new location each month. So far a gang of mums - mumtographers - have explored the city laneways, captured the streets of Richmond, the views of Lillydale Lake and seascape of St Kilda Pier. No fancy cameras are required, but if you have a wizz bang set up, you can learn about shooting in manual mode as you cruise along.

Mamma's special mention: Mums understand mums - if there needs to be a nappy change along the way, no drama, no one is left behind. There may even be time to grab a coffee and babycino at the end of the session.
