In every neighbourhood there is generally at least one house that goes ALL OUT at Christmas time. That is certainly the case for the house on the corner of Vista Drive and Songbird Avenue in Chirnside Park. For years this property gets right into the Christmas spirit and families drive from miles around with little ones in their PJs to see the display. The entire front verandah is full of lights and your favourite characters from the North Pole singing a song or riding in a train. Plus there are reindeer on the front lawn, planes flying on the fence and around the corner a spinning ferris wheel. Of course the house comes alive at nightfall with the amazing lights, but there is more than just lights - it makes it a perfect house to take the toddlers to at dusk! The owners are generously collecting donations for the CFA and the fire truck frequently visits with Santa on the back. Always double check on the Facebook page for times, but in most cases the truck is here on Friday and Saturday nights! The owners do an AMAZING job and trust Mamma - it is a MUST SEE!
Mamma's special mention: Mamma is a huge fan of Christmas lights and has put together a collection of more houses in Christmas Lights in the EAST - the photos there are of this display at night!
If you have a hot tip for a brilliant display, be sure to let Mamma know HERE.
