Werribee Zoo could possibly be Mamma's and the Mamma Knows West team's favourite all round family destination in the west. There is so much to do here for all ages and it is constantly being improved. Start with a stroll around the zoo seeing the monkeys, lions, african dogs, hippos and cheetahs. Pop into the cafe and have lunch with the meerkats, then step onto the safari bus for a magnificent and informative trip through the wilds of Africa. Don't forget to have a play in the Ranger Kids section on those chilly days and in the warmer months make sure to bring a change of clothes for the hippo water play.
