Mount Evelyn may just need to become Mamma's new hometown. We seem to take the fam there every other week. It's so kid friendly and countless places for coffee but even better for parks and playgrounds. As Mamma randomly explored another little corner, we found Morrison Reserve and THE most spectacular view! Set high in the hill, just below the community centre, is the Morrison’s Cattleyard Park. The biggest features are the main wooden playground and second colourful, steel and plastic playstructure. Toddlers will be able to negotiate both quite well, but may just love the drawbridge the most. Crawlers will have a good time on the wooden structure as well. Being a cattleyard, of course you will find a windmill, a farmers cottage (picnic seating), a tractor, and a cattle run/maze to lose a toddler in! There is a decent flying fox, three different slides and a swing set with a view to die for.
Mamma's special mentions: Shade is limited so pack a hat and, in case they are an issue for you - Saturday morning (when we were there) was dog training on the field below. Don't forget to head back into the main drag of Mount Evelyn and grab a coffee from The Mount Evelyn Storehouse, or if you are up for more play time with your coffee, check in at baby lets Cruz
