foley reserve, kew

You can’t beat a park with a helicopter. Or petrol pump. Or a tram! Lucky for this spot, it’s got all three. Foley Reserve in Kew is one of the most adorable play spaces in the east. The youngsters will love the chopper while fighting take turns at being captain, before racing to be the tram driver on the Foley Special. They’ll top up a scooter with petrol and then do it all over again.

It has had a recent upgrade with a bunch of unique features and there is plenty that your tribe will love. The park is fenced, has a small scooter track that runs up and down the centre and is tucked in a residential area just off Barkers Road, making it nice and quiet off the main streets. You might not find any toilets nearby but you will find plenty of things to explore.

Mamma’s special mentions: If your kids love things that move and all things transport, check out the train park in Mont Albert, or Railway Station Park in Healesville, or Hartwell Station Reserve for some cool places to play!
