Protective eyewear? Check! Gloves? Check! High vis vests? Check? Ready to dig for dinosaurs? Triple CHECK! The dinosaurs have well and truly arrived at Stockland The Pines this week for the Delightful Dinosaur activity program. These school holidays from June 27 - July 1, you will find TWO dinosaur activity stations at The Pines. The first, located outside Dymocks, is the Dinosaur Dig. Your kiddos will be dressed for the part as little archeologists and be given the tools to uncover some hidden ancient treasures. It is a gentle process (take it from Mamma who was using the hammer a little to hard!) but you will uncover some fossils hidden within your dusty block or egg. The station is fully manned and supervised but your toddlers will need all of your help. But of course, if that is not enough dinosaur delightfulness, a second craft section is set up outside Woolworths with some fun and less messy activities. Today was mask making but the activities will be different everyday this week so you will have to pop in and see. Lastly Friday July 1st will be a super special day with a visit from a Baby T-Rex! It will be very popular and there will be 20 minute sessions for the meet and greet between 11 and 2. Mamma suggests get there early!
Mamma's special mention: Next week in the centre, the dinosaurs will have disappeared and Winter fun will be taking over with a GIANT SNOWDOME arriving! The bigger kids will get to have a play and their photo taken by Mum or Dad with a photo competition running as well. Again, there will be craft stations set up at the other end of the centre - FUN!
*Please note: The snow inside the snow globe is a non-toxic plastic substance.Children under the age of 3 will not be permitted to enter the snow globe. All children under 6 years of age must be accompanied by an adult.
