I hereby declare that EVERY kindergarten needs a kid friendly cafe right next door! How lucky are these mums (and their kids) that Ora Specialty Coffee Cafe have converted their backyard and laneway into a family zone. The cubby house is filled with toys, there's bench seating for outdoor dining and a little slide to entertain your cherubs while you decide on your meal.
The courtyard has only recently begun entertaining the fams but is already a hit. The team here are working on plans to 'winterfy' the space a little more as well as introduce a junior menu to their seasonal options. Regardless, the food is spectacular and has quite an unique range of choices.
Mamma's special mention: You can't visit Kew without a play at Hay's Paddock, but if you prefer not to load the kids into the car again, there is a playground behind the shops over the road. Nothing to write home about, but simple swings, slide and bouncing whale.
