Mamma loves hot tips when it comes to Christmas lights (hint - hint) and have been told by a number of lovely Mamma readers about Chestnut Avenue in Ferntree Gully. We love that this street has a number of houses lit up in festive cheer this Christmas, making this a great quiet street to get out and have a closer look. This year we spied plenty of Santas, cheeky reindeer and even six white boomers. Not every house in the street participates but there are plenty in a row, especially in the bend of the street.
